1. Prize Pool and Individual Prizes

1.1. The total prize pool is 3813,33 EUR;

1.2. There are 12 individual prizes;

1.3. A team of Mechanistry developers will pick 1 winner for each individual prize

2. Individual Prizes

2.1. Prize: Best Small Map with Badwater (128x128 And Below)

2.1.1. Number of Winners: 1

2.1.2. Prize per Winner: 1111,11 EUR, voucher for merchandise (valued at 40 EUR)

2.1.3. Winner Selection Criteria: chosen by Mechanistry based on the map’s originality, playability, appearance, and badwater implementation.

2.2. Prize: Best Medium Map with Badwater (129x129 Through 255x255)

2.2.1. Number of Winners: 1

2.2.2. Prize per Winner: 1111,11 EUR, voucher for merchandise (valued at 40 EUR)

2.2.3. Winner Selection Criteria: chosen by Mechanistry based on the map’s originality, playability, appearance, and badwater implementation.

2.3. Prize: Best Large Map with Badwater (256x256 And Up)

2.3.1. Number of Winners: 1

2.3.2. Prize per Winner: 1111,11 EUR, voucher for merchandise (valued at 40 EUR)

2.3.3. Winner Selection Criteria: chosen by Mechanistry based on the map’s originality, playability, appearance, and badwater implementation.

2.4. Runners up

2.4.1. Number of Winners: 9

2.4.2. Prize per Winner: voucher for merchandise (valued at 40 EUR)

2.4.3. Winner Selection Criteria: chosen by Mechanistry based on the map’s originality, playability, appearance, and badwater implementation.

2.5. The amounts of cash prizes specified above include 10% prize tax paid by Mechanistry on the winners' behalf to Polish tax authorities. Any other taxes applicable in the countries of winners' tax registration are to be settled by winners themselves as specified in section 6.2.

3. Eligibility

3.1. All eligible Mod Creators will be automatically considered;

3.1.1. For mods to be eligible the Mod Creator must:

3.1.1.1. Have an active member account on mod.io when the rewards are determined and at the last day of the relevant month. Duplicate accounts will be grouped or banned;

3.1.1.2. Have complied with mod.io Terms of Use and Privacy Policy;

3.1.1.3. Not work for mod.io, or Mechanistry, or be related to or live with someone who does.

3.1.2. The mod(s) must:

3.1.2.1. Be your original creation;

3.1.2.2. Be a creation that hasn’t been published anywhere else before;

3.1.2.3. Be visible and accepted;

3.1.2.4. Be active and not taken down for any reason;

3.1.2.5. Be compatible with the latest version of Timberborn;

3.1.2.6. Feature at least one Badwater Source;

3.1.2.7. Be tagged with the “Build-A-Map Contest 3” tag on mod.io.

3.1.2.8. Have a minimum of three unaltered screenshots on its mod.io listing, including at least one with the map shown in its entirety; screenshots shall show water and badwater with the water transparency disabled.

3.1.2.9. Be submitted by the submission deadline (March 14, 2024)

3.2. Additional rules:

3.2.1. Mechanistry and mod.io reserve the right to exclude any mod creator or mod from the program for any reason;

3.2.2. Mod creators who are found to have acted in bad faith will be permanently excluded from this and any future program;

3.2.3. The winner will be the primary mod creator only;

3.2.4. A mod creator can submit any number of eligible mods but can only win one award;

3.2.5. Mods that are obviously trying to "game" the system in any way to win will be ignored;

3.2.6. The decisions of Mechanistry and mod.io staff regarding eligibility and winners will be final and binding on all mod creators.

4. Winner Announcements

4.1. Mechanistry will announce winners by March 28, 2024 via Twitter, Facebook, Discord, and Reddit.

4.2. Winners will also be notified by mod.io directly via mod.io DM or via the email found on their mod.io account, within 10 days of the winners being notified by Mechanistry, to request their payment details.

5. Payment Eligibility

5.1. To be eligible to receive a prize payments the Winner must:

5.1.1. Have a bank account that can receive payments from our payment provider;

5.1.2. Have parental approval if you are under the age of consent in your country;

5.1.3. Provide required KYC or KYB details and bank account details in the requested format before April 7, 2024.

6. Fees and Taxes

6.1. Winners will receive their prize less any fees associated with the payment transaction, including currency exchange fees;
